NIRWN as a member of the Women’s Policy Group NI is committed to working to achieve a feminist future for NI.
The Emergency Response to Covid-19 failed to include women in decision making and the response as a result did not adequately address the needs of women. There is clear evidence that women have been disproportionately impacted by Covid-19.
We want to ensure that this is not replicated in Covid-19 recovery planning and budgeting. We have developed a robust, well researched Feminist Recovery Plan to support our NI Executive and policy makers to be able to redress the gender differential
