Today October 1st; marks a significant change in NIRWN; our Co Ordinator Majella Murphy enjoys her first day of retirement today after 12 years of service to NIRWN. NIRWN began in September 2006 and Majella has been with us since the very beginning.
I am sure that you will all join us in thanking Majella for her commitment to rural women for all this time. Majella began as a Development Officer in 2006 and progressed to Co Ordinator in which role she steered NIRWN through some very challenging changes to ensure NIRWN’s survival and ability to continue as a vital resource to and voice for rural women.
We wish Majella health and happiness in her new chapter and I know that if Majella puts as much effort into enjoying her retirement as she has in all the years she has been working for NIRWN she will have an amazing, productive and long-lasting retirement. Enjoy!
Louise Coyle has been appointed as our organisation Director and we are excited to be now recruiting for the position of Organisation and Membership Administrator.
