ABC programme is looking for new groups

Year 2 of the Animate-Build-Connect Programme is now open, and we're looking for 8 rural women's groups to join us from September 2026. If you're part of a group that could do with some dedicated support, this is worth reading.

Successfully selected groups will receive:

• a tailored mentoring and development plan,

• a mix of in-person and online workshops, peer and shared learning opportunities with other groups,

• and a £1,000 participation contribution to use however you choose.

The application is short and straightforward, and you simply need a clear understanding of what your group needs right now.

To be eligible your group needs:

• to be a full NIRWN member (free to join)

• have at least three or 50% of committee members committed to participating (see details on criteria attached)

• and have a bank account in your group's name.
